I don’t know what to do.

BU is so expensive and I would rarely get to fly.

Boston University

Sooo college is coming up kind of soon, but I think I’ve found my first choice. The past four days have been devoted to traveling all over the New England area, looking at just a few of the 100+ colleges located in the area. In three and a half days, we toured at least 8 colleges, 3 of which I was looking at seriously and the one that really stood out was Boston University. It has pretty much everything I want in a college:

- Away from home

- intramural soccer

- big city

- aerospace engineering

- 4 seasons

- college town

- public transportation

- general aviation airport

Well let’s see; it’s 3000 miles from home, has an engineering department, 4 season weather, indoor and outdoor soccer fields, a general aviation airport reachable with public transportation, and it’s located in the biggest college town in the world, Boston, MA. Over a quarter of a million college students can’t be wrong. The T stops 6 times along the BU campus which is clean and modern, along with most of the rest of Boston. I’ve pretty much fallen in love with this place. Hopefully I can get some sort of financial aid or merit aid because this place ain’t cheap. Sigh… but my parents have said they’ll do what they can to get me there. I’m beyond excited for this. If I get in…

ACT: 33

SAT Math II: 790

Community service: approx 200 hours

Extra-curriculars: Soccer, photography, and aviation (hopefully my PPL by the time I apply)

This “should” do it for BU, but obviously nothing is guaranteed. I’ve got 5 AP classes teed up for senior year. Lol I could fuck that up really easily. If I apply early decision, I’ll know in just 5 months. Only 5 fucking months. That is so soon.
